I am Isla Brook and here is a little bit about me and my journey…
Isla Brook is a Business Consultant and proud mum of two daughters, with over 10 years’ professional experience working with some of the world’s fastest growing Inc500 businesses, Online entrepreneurs and Corporate businesses in Australia, USA and around the world. 

She is CEO of Isla Brook Consulting and Founder of The Executive (Virtual) Assistant Academy . Isla has experience in running projects, managing and leading worldwide global teams, training professional and personal development workshops, managing projects at an Executive level. 

She works with both people wanting to become Virtual Assistants or launch a Virtual Assistant business.  And entrepreneurs who want to hire a Virtual Assistant.  Isla also works with entrepreneurs to set-up strong systems and foundations to lead their virtual teams.

She helps businesses save time and money and build strong foundations and systems so that the CEO can focus as the visionary.

She is CEO and Founder of Isla Brook Consulting and The Executive Assistant Academy. Isla has experience in running projects, managing and leading teams, teaching professional and personal development workshops, managing projects at an Executive level, managing worldwide global teams. 

She consults to companies and implements strategies and tools into their businesses to save time and money and build strong foundations and systems so that the CEO can move forward as the visionary to keep them driving their business forward. 

She helps CEO’s recruit and train Executive Assistants and also gives others opportunities to work virtually and become Executive Virtual Assistants through her Executive Assistant Academy and courses.
In 2016, a chain of devastating events resulted in her losing her marriage, corporate job and home becoming a newly single mum of two daughters under three just shortly before Christmas. 

So she decided to make a choice and figure out how to re-build her life and create a future for herself and her children. Two and half years later, Isla is a successful business owner and entrepreneur with her own growing team working virtually from the Sunshine Coast, Qld. 

She has been nominated for 3 business awards in Australia, about to launch her first podcast show interviewing some of the best CEO’s in the world, she runs workshops across Australia, is being invited to speak at different events and much more. 

She is a true example that with hard work and determination and figuring out a way, you can create the life and business you want.

The reason why Isla created the Executive Assistant Academy was based on her own and the needs of the businesses she has been consulting to that she continued to see over and over again. 
While Isla has been working with these businesses and CEO’s it became apparent to her that there is a gap with the support that they are getting within running their businesses. As a CEO you need someone that can support you in both the tactical and strategic and manage a variety of things for you.  

Isla realised that the skillset she has acquired at an Executive level is the required skill set that a CEO needs support with in that role which is why the Executive Assistant Academy was created.

Isla teaches everything she knows, all her knowledge and everything she has implemented and consulted with to these companies around the world in one online program. 

Isla is very passionate about teaching everything she knows and empowering other people to have flexible work and work-life balance and to be home with their families and also fulfill a professional role.

And Isla has also done this herself with her own Executive Virtual Assistant so all of the training has been practised and tested as it has been trialled and implemented straight into businesses and used for long periods of time by CEO’s, people training to be EVA’s and also by Isla and her assistant. 

It is very important that in this role the Executive Virtual Assistant stays up to date and current with what is happening because there are so many updates in project management, leading virtual teams, technology, marketing, online marketing, social media that you need to be current.

From her own experience as a single mother she wanted to create a lifestyle ad work-life balance so she wouldn’t miss out on time with her children but also utilise her skills in a professional way and support her family. 

So Isla has spent the last few years refining this system, this program, 
everything that’s in this course and is now focusing on teaching and training as many people as possible with these skills as she understands the need for this role. It is one of the no.1 roles that is desired in this day and age.
